Our budding Classicists headed to the West Country and Wales to take in Chedworth Villa, Caerleon and Bath, staying at 12-century St Briavels Castle along the way. The packed itinerary included visiting Roman ruins, baths and an amphitheatre, as well as hands-on activities with costumes, artefacts and mosaics, plus a lesson in reading Latin inscriptions - all bringing their classroom learning in Ancient Civilisations to vivid life.
