At the end of last term we held our annual Science Fair for Years 7 & 8, where students volunteer to take part in teams, each one doing an experiment of their own design and then presenting their findings at their stall. This year’s theme was Colour and there was an amazing array of projects, from the colour of carrots and their nutritional value, to optical illusions and the psychology of colour.

Friends and family were invited to the Fair along with a panel of judges including former Science teachers and representatives from GSK. It’s fair to say everyone was blown away by the standard of scientific investigation on display, as well as the creativity and communication skills that went into the presentations.
