Classics students from Years 10-13 were in Italy during the Easter holidays for a five-night tour of some of the most important sites of the ancient Roman civilisation.

At the end of last term we held our annual Science Fair for Years 7 & 8, where students volunteer to take part in teams, each one doing an experiment of their own design and then presenting their findings at their stall.

We had a fantastic turnout in our second year of running this fashion, food & performance event, a fabulous celebration of each other's cultures, with a soundtrack to match!

It's been a busy time for our Library team with the recent book sale in collaboration with Next Page Books, and a big cake sale in support of World Book Day, to raise funds to supply books in disadvantaged communities around the UK.

Love was in the air in the Library with two new displays celebrating our love of books, reading and the HGS Library.
