Science Fair 2025
Our annual Science Fair took place just before we broke up for Easter, where Years 7 & 8 are invited to carry out a scientific investigation or present a scientific idea in teams of up to four. We had some interesting projects based around this year's theme of 'Change and Adapt', from a record 153 entrants across more than 40 teams. Very well done all for taking part in the competition and having a go.
So the overall winners were 
3rd place - AAA Batteries: Annie, Ariana, Athena - project on cancer cells
2nd place - Contagious Crew: Emma P, Emma H, Eleanor, Emily - project on virus adaptations
Winners - Sea Speed: Silvia and Thea - a fantastic experimental project comparing boat designs
Out of our primary school entrants, the winner was 'The Survivors' by Mary Exton pupils, who looked at the adaptation of microbes according to climate temperature.
