Thinking Uni
Thinking Black is relaunching Thinking Uni, a series of online workshops for black Sixth Formers run in conjunction with Jesus College, Oxford University.
The programme is entirely free and will run online from 21 September, 2024 until 14 March, 2025. It is open to state-school students of black (including mixed-black) heritage in Years 12 and 13.
Sessions will cover:

·University Subject Choice Advice
·Talks with Access & Admissions Officers from Oxford & UCL
·Personal Statement Feedback
·Interview Skills
·Money Matters & Admissions Test Advice
·Q&A with Current Students from Oxbridge and more
·Revisions Skills & Exam Tips
·Safeguarding Mental Wellbeing
There are two tracks:
Thinking Uni Standard Track (applications close 18 September)
These students will receive access to five online live sessions, recordings, written feedback on their personal statements, and an invitation to visit Oxford University in the summer.
Aspire Track (applications close 14 September)
An additional 50 students will be selected for enhanced support, which includes one-to-one tutorial sessions with graduate mentors. These sessions provide detailed feedback on personal statements, super-curricular advice, and interview preparation.
